Hello Noelene, first I was sure have heard the word aponce but I didn’t knew a German for it. Than I looked it up in my International Lace Dictionary - nothing in my electronic pocket dictionary - nothing and in my heavy PONS Großwörtebuch French-German - nothing. I found only appontage - auf Flugzeugträger landen - disembark on a aircraft carrier. Sorry Let’s hope our French members answer soon.
