This is a series of mysteries that take place in Australia in 1928. Written
by Kerry Greenwood who is some sort of lawyer, and who loves to do research,
and has researched 1928 in Australia thoroughly. It is not on PBS, but I
think Netflix may have it. We have the DVD's, and I have almost all the
mysteries as audiobooks. Phryne Fisher grew up poor, acceded to wealth,
lived in Britain, then returned to Australia where she is set up as a
detective. The characters and acting are great, the costumes are divine,
the whole thing is just delightful. If one needs to find out when something
will be out, look for it on Amazon. When there is a release date, there
will be one there. Easiest way.
