Hi Sue Mettler 30 is recommended by them on their website as a machine embroidery thread but I have often used it for lace. I find it great to use - much better than Madeira Tanne.  I've bought it in the past from suppliers at Lace Days, Havant fair etc. But I checked the websites of Claire's Lace and Makit as a couple of examples and neither of them stock it. However it appears you can buy direct from Mettler themselves and their website had a colour chart. Hi fellow spiders, I am currently needing to find a source of Mettler 30 thread in forget me not blue (or something like).  I am in England UK, and have no idea what Mettler is like, or where I might find a suitable colour blue, so can any body recommend a colour and source of something that would work where I might be able to purchase what I need. No shops near me to go and look, so am reliant on the internet and have no idea what to order.
