Hi, just use the convention to state it at

So, you can assume that there is no ongoing work, since there are no
comments from volunteers in the issue.
You can take some files and note it there (like, post a comment there
saying "I am translating files in the 'accessibility' folder"). For any
doubts, please do ask, we are ready to help you with everything.
