The Bank of Scotland will start charging fees on the Kubuntu bank account from January. This makes it non-viable. I plan to close the bank account at the end of this year. The Paypal account requires the bank account so I plan to close that as well. There is currently £2,606.19 in the bank account and nothing in the Paypal account.
