Hi Yes, after almost 9 years this is now old and can be closed. I tend to move away from things that is not working or handled correctly, but at that time I was still using it. I did expect a faster reply at that time.
I get this in a more current Kubuntu Bionic 18.04: "Package koffice-libs is not available, but is referred to by another package. This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or is only available from another source."
