Maybe another area we need to look into (QIF export of investments)
Another minor point about qif exporter - the "Account to export" dropdown is of a fixed size, and is not wide enough to show the full account name, so you have to guess whether the investment account or brokerage account is first on the list.

AFAICT: source code is the only place to look :(
I'm digging, but I'll try with csv first.
