The underlying issue is that scheduled transactions in the future are not really transactions until they are entered into the ledger. They are shown in the ledger due to special handling which is only used in the ledger, not anywhere else. I'm not sure how much effort it would be to include these transactions in reports, but I suspect it is far from trivial, and thus unlikely to be implemented in the near future. It would not only require generating the "pseudo-transactions" (I just invented that term) but also finding a way to differentiate them from "real" transactions.
