Then select existing profile or create new by entering its name and selecting 'Add'. Then open the file you wish to import." It looks like you did not create or select a profile. If you provide a name for the profile in the edit field and click 'Add' KMyMoney confirms that the profile was created (3a). Your step 3b) does not make sense, because you need a name for the profile not the CSV file.
