Sometimes non-error information there is useful, and someimes there is more detail found there than in a pop-up error message. However, those messages from Comment #5 are not critical. They just say there is no translation available for en_UK and the aqbanking back end plugin was not found. Neither is relevant to your problem. One possible option: on your desktop, create a new kmy file, and see if your windows version can open it. That could provide us a small test file which shows the problem. If windows can open that file, then you might try saving your file on the desktop as an anonymized file.
