KMyMoney is powerful enough to cope with many years of data unless you process a lot of transactions per year but that then sounds more like a business user. This very same question has been discussed a few times during recent years and people were happy to just continue with the data and select the fiscal year by the reporting functions. Do you have specific use case for separate files or is it just 'old habbit'? / German translation: not by machinery ;) Solch eine Funktion gibt es in KMyMoney nicht. Somit ist es kein Wunder, dass die nicht gefunden wird. KMyMoney ist effizient genug um mit Daten aus vielen Jahren umzugehen. Es sei denn, Du hast viele Buchungen pro Jahr. Aber das hört sich dann mehr wie ein Geschäfts-User an. Diese Frage haben wir in den vergangenen Jahren schon öfter diskutiert aber unsere Benutzer waren eigentlich immer damit zufrieden die Daten in einer Datei vorzuhalten und das Geschäftsjahr mittels der Berichtsfunktionen herauszuarbeiten. Hast Du einen bestimmten Anwendungsfall für separierte Dateien oder ist es einfach nur 'weil das immer schon so gemacht wurde'?
