If that is the case, you need to tell Windows Defender to ignore KMyMoney. You could try downloading the installer again, and you can try scanning it with some other anti-virus. Have you followed the steps Brendan suggested in his response to your message to the mailing list? They provide a good path forward. For now, if you can't successfully run 4.8.1 on your PC, I would probably not install 5.0, but wait for 5.0.1, which is now released for linux (it may take some time to be packaged for distributions) and should also be available for Windows in the near future (there have been some issues with the packaging, but they are being resolved.) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
