We are aware there are lots of areas for improvement in terms of handling
investments. The current effort is all going towards completing the migration
to KDE Frameworks, and once that is complete, the team will be evaluating all
the remaining outstanding bugs and enhancement requests, and I personally hope
that some rework of investments will be included.
In addition, 4.6.4 is rather old. You should be able to upgrade to 4.8
immediately. 4.8.1 will be released shortly with many bug fixes, and 4.8.2
will follow shortly afterwards, mainly with an fix to allow continued OFX
downloads for users who have banks who have stopped supporting Quicken 2014.
(4.8.1 is already available for Windows.)
