Hi! Please note that the encryption option in kmymoney is greyed out when no _gpg2_ _private_ key can be found.
I had a similar problem a week ago, when I created a new gpg keypair. The new secret key was known to gpg, but not to gpg2. Commandline encryption was possible (via gpg) but kmymoney showed a greyed-out encryption option. To keep a long story short: Try to import the secret keys to gpg2: gpg2 --import ~/.gnupg/secring.gpg Martin
