Note that although it does keep track of the date of the last reconciliation, it does NOT change "C"leared transactions to "R"econciled. I suspect this is because reconciliation was designed to handle changes to the cash balance of the account. Investment accounts do not have any cash in them, just numbers of shares and current value. I've been thinking about this for a long time, and have still not come up with how this really should work.
