I can confirm this. But the changes to fix this issue are too complex for the
available developer time. The kmy format is a gzipped xml file. It is not hard
to parse it, maybe you should give it a try.
Btw: KMyMoney 4.7 has some improvements regarding the database backend. It
should be bit faster (only a bit!).
