Sorry, Antoine, but you said "> - creating a new empty account " I read that as
verbatim, and not as creating a new "KMY file", which is what I was suggesting,
in case the
file was corrupt.

Well, that sounds like a KDE problem, rather that a KMyMoney issue.
It seems to be part of libkdepimlibs4.  It might be worthwhile going back to
your 
KMyMoney installation and looking for it.  You might need to uninstall then
reinstall
it.
