After trying various things I found a magic key. If the "Account" field in the
editor is change and then changed back the entry works. This is MOST weird!
This sounds a bit like a problem fixed a while back.
How sure are you that that mysterious plugin (and all traces of previous
versions) have been removed? I can't reproduce your problem here. It
all works as expected.
