I think a commit tagged as a bug fix gets sent to the bug, and then
also get sent to the list. I've traded some email with the maintainer
of the commitfilter system - is it possible we stopped getting notified
when we migrated from svn to git? As I understand it, the filters
would have to be altered, it wasn't automatic, and the web interface
for creating the filters didn't have all the git repositories
available, which is being fixed right now.

That's the notification I'm talking about. It didn't go to the list
because commits don't go to the list.
I didn't get it, and probably most of us who setup notifications right
after migrating to git didn't get it. Something changed in
commitfilter, I guess.
