This is only possible when all warning dialogue boxes are enabled - especially warning "you need to assign a category to this split before it can be entered" "Delete all" doesn't work in this situation anymore and leaves entries behind. I can reproduce the crash with my build dated Aug 19th. Unfortunately I stripped it of debugging symbols.
