This issue is also a concern for me. I need to be able to import old
statements and have them automatically categorized so that I don't go crazy
with data-entry.
I also use a local bank that doesn't seem especially concerned with giving
their customers direct computer access to their accounts. Local imports from
OFX reports I download from the web interface will probably be my best option.
