Title: KWorld UB430-AF TV Tuner no longer works with kernel >= 3.10 Status in linux package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: Previously, this USB ISDB-t tuner was working fine with Ubuntu 12.04.3. I cleanly upgraded to Ubuntu 13.10 and it stopped working: is recognized by the kernel, but when I try to tune a frequency (using vlc or mplayer), it doesn't show anything. Furthermore, scanning with 'scan' and monitoring with femon (dvb-apps) shows 0% signal. When I downgraded the kernel to 3.9.11 (using Ubuntu PPA packages), it worked fine. I suspect a regression was introduced in kernel 3.10 in v4l drivers. --- ApportVersion: 2.12.5-0ubuntu2.2 Architecture: i386 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 13.10 MarkForUpload: True Package: linux (not installed) Tags: saucy Uname: Linux 3.13.0-031300rc7-generic i686 UnreportableReason: The running kernel is not an Ubuntu kernel UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) UserGroups: adm audio cdrom dip lpadmin plugdev pulse pulse-access sambashare sudo video To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1266328/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~kernel-packages Post to : kernel-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~kernel-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
