  USB HDDs are only getting recognized after suspend

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  Hi,

  I'm using ubuntu 14.04 amd64 with all latest updates. But the bug also
  appeared in 12.04 I think.

  My external USB Harddisks / USB Storage-Devices are only getting
  recognized after suspend. But not after a normal boot.

  In Windows 7 they are always recognized. So there is a bug.
