Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: Ubuntu 14.04 starts the Realtec 8152 device but it drops sync after a few minutes. There is a new Realtec driver for Linux 3.X kernnel but it won't install. Help! System is AMD A-6 processor and an ASRock MOBO Fm2/FM2+. 4 GB of RAM and 700GB of hard drive space (3.0GPS). I have to use the Ethernet connection and the wires are not OK. The download is: http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=14&PFid=55&Level=5&Conn=4&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false I have used this wireless adaptor (Rosewill RNX-N250USB) on WIndows 7 and it works fine. The new driver may work if it can be installed. It is not available on Synaptic. So help a lot of users out and see if this can be fixed, Thanks Yogidaddy To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1325449/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~kernel-packages Post to : kernel-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~kernel-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
