Title:
  Boot failure

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Machine: IBM x345
  release : lucid beta 1

"sudo aptitude upgrade" at 22-Mar-2010 morning end up with a system
hang just after it trying to mount the LVM devices during boot up
process. I have experienced this at the lucid Alpha 3 upgrade ...
after a "chroot /mnt/lucid aptitude upgrade" using system rescue cd.
It installed a new version of plymouth and it fixed the problem.

This is the second time. I tried "chroot /mnt/lucid aptitude upgrade"
  + "chroot /mnt/lucid aptitude purge plymouth" + "chroot /mnt/lucid
update-initramfs -u" as stated in some bug reports. The system still
hangs at the mounting point when it starts.

Message appears on the screen is :
init: ureadahead-other main process (745) terminated with status 4

then same message with different process id appear few more times.

Have no clue which package i should fill the bug into. Thanks.
