By itself this patch does nothing but adding the new function, we are waiting for the proper fix on the audio side to go through the upstream stable trees and shipping them in a DKMS package for OEMs in the interim. Connect to an external monitor via HDMI port on an affected machine 2. Change the audio output from internal speaker to HDMI 3.
