Title:
b43-fwcutter does not extract the firmware

Status in “b43-fwcutter” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: b43-fwcutter

  Hello

The Maverick package version of b43-fwcutter does install the
b43-fwcutter tool but does not automate the firmware extraction. I
even tried to do it myself but the binaries were unexistant. I
resolved the problem by using the Lucid version, then it worked right
  at the install.

  using:

Ubuntu 10.10 Server (yes, my server has a wifi ;))
version 1:012-1build1 (found on lucid repository) instead of 1:013-2 (from
maverick repository)
