Title:
some connections using FW15 are much slower than with FW13

Status in “b43-fwcutter” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: b43-fwcutter

Some months ago, I noticed that connections at the local library had
become very slow (30KB/s). They use WPA and BlueSocket. I thought that
this was due to a change at the library, but I just tried reverting to
FW13 using b43-fwcutter and instantly noticed much, much faster
connections. I guess things must have changed when I started using
  FW15.

  I am using 10.10 on a PPC Powerbook G4.
