@christopher penalver after re - installing version 1:019-1, WIFI works also with the actual version 1:019-1! Nevertheless, I have sent the output of "ubuntu-bug firmware-b43-installer" when using the most recent version of b43.
The only relevant changes I may have made (since filing the bug) are kernel updates (at the time of filing the bug the kernels 3.13 and 3.16) were installed.
