today, after running apt-get autoremove, which removed old linux-image kernel (lost the version when rebooting to test upstream kernel), and upgrading php-cli, my iphone was mounted. But, in ubuntu 14.04 there was two different mounts: one with directories like "AirFair" and "DCIM"... and another with all apps. Now, only the first is being mounted.
