The bug appears to be a crash when unloading the vdpau library, either via a dl_close() or dl_fini() call. It also affects any application using the vdpau library, such as mplayer and mythfrontend.
A backtrace from mythfrontend follows: mythfrontend crash details: *** Error in `/usr/bin/mythfrontend.real': free(): invalid pointer: 0x00007ffe734bc623 *** Program received signal SIGABRT, Aborted. 0x00007ffff3352bb9 in __GI_raise (sig=sig@entry=6) at ../nptl/sysdeps/unix/sysv/linux/raise.c:56 56 ../nptl/sysdeps/unix/sysv/linux/raise.c: No such file or directory.
