I can confirm the bug for 14.04 and 14.10, running the current, updated beta on my Zenbook UX32VD:
After booting up the computer the bluetooth applet is not able to turn on bluetooth again (the slider slides, for an instance of a second my paired devices show up, and then the slider is on OFF again) When running the command rfkill unblock all (im in the bluetooth group) the bluetooth applet displays bluetooth being on and Im able to use my BT devices. The error is the same when - closing and then opening the lid - Turning BT off using the applet @Bachi: You can add 'rfkill unblock all' in /etc/rc.local before the 'exit 0' line. So you have BT always on after starting up the system. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1265198 Title: [ASUS ZENBOOK Touch UX31A] Bluetooth mouse problems after 13.10. update Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu: Expired Bug description: On my Asus Zenbook prime bluetooth mouse fails after the computer comes back from stand-by. And after trying to turn off and on BT from the settings dialog, it won't turn on again (immediately switches back to off). This worked perfectly before on 13.4. PS: I also noticed that some trackpad settings were resetted, e.g. the scroll by two-finger-setting is enabled again (I turned it off previously). Maybe this is related.
