All of the dependencies look correct. That indeterminate state seems to have been caused by the out of sync of linux-generic in repo and network installation iso. Today when I first run it, the problem was more prominent -- see the failure screenshot on http://imagebin.ca/v/1bKjMCi8cTTf. Re-downloading the network installation iso and redo the installation, everything works now.
