Technically I guess we should make this bug a duplicate and have you open a new bug for the other issues, but I'm inclined to just go ahead and switch the topic of this bug to address the other issues you're seeing.
For that, the first thing I'd ask is that you test the 3.16 kernel and see if your problems still exist there. You can get packages from: http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.16-utopic/ You want the packages with "generic" in the name, not the "lowlatency" packages.
