Hi imker, I just followed all the steps you mentioned, but the console log says it is unable to find the module rtl8192ee. Do you mean rtl8192ee-dkms ?
If I go for rtl8192ee-dkms I get the following log : ERROR (dkms apport): kernel package linux-headers-3.16.0-031600rc6-lowlatency is not supported I think I downloaded the latest debs from the URL above. I installed both llinux-headers-<version>-owlatency and normal linux- headers-<version> in my system. This is causing the issue. Please let me know correct package and I will try to remove lowlatency and try out again. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1239578 Title: No wireless support for Realtek RTL8192EE [10ec:818b] Status in HWE Next Project: Confirmed Status in HWE Next trusty series: Confirmed Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: Open this bug to trace device driver RTL8192EE.
