SUMMARY: What happens is that the laptop often loses connection on a local wireless network that is properly set up. Other devices are connected to the same network without any issues even when the connection drops on my device. Even my Android phone maintains the connection nicely. This occurs with random devices and random networks and is an ongoing issue that has lasted throughout many kernel cycles and needs to be addressed.
