Title: Missing iwlwifi-7260-8.ucode causes connection problems Status in “linux-firmware” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: My WIFI card (Intel AC7260) looses connectivity every 15-45 minutes. The network applet shows that I'm still connected to the WLAN but no packets can be send. When I disconnect and reconnect in the applet it works again. The problem gets fixed by either installing /lib/firmware/iwlwifi-7260-8.ucode from http://wireless.kernel.org/en/users/Drivers/iwlwifi?action=AttachFile&do=get&target=iwlwifi-7260-ucode-22.24.8.0.tgz or disabling 802.11n mode in the driver.
