I'm running UBUNTU 12.4.2 and after upgrade : i have a kernel 3.5.0.18 I have a problem with my ALC260 sound card on my laptop: just before enter tty1 or there my login and password, I mean a Rattle. And once in my session after you type startx, I have no sound. So if I resume the old kernel, I have no problem of sound.
