Title:
problem no sound ALC260 with Kernel 3.5.0.18

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Hello,
My english is not very good.
  I'm running UBUNTU 12.4.2 and after upgrade : i have a kernel 3.5.0.18
I have a problem with my ALC260 sound card on my laptop: just before enter
tty1 or there my login and password, I mean a Rattle.
And once in my session after you type startx, I have no sound. So if I
resume the old kernel, I have no problem of sound.
I think it should be a problem of compiling kernel
I would like to have documentation on how to compile the kernel to help solve
the problem
    can you help me
    thank you
