Bug description:
Every time I tried to install this new it was hanging during the
install or even before during boot. This system is a pre-installed
windows 8 (64bits).

WORKAROUND: I was able to complete the install passing the following kernel
parameter, then the computer boots fine but hangs for between 25 to 2 minutes
and then continues working. I would expect the computer not to hang:
