by the way Shutdown works now ok it's only the Log Out option that still doesnt function I have to wait like 30 seconds then it log outs but hangs for like 2 mins so I have to run a console to debug it. I'm using Ubuntu 14.04 in the same machine as I used 12.04 and this kind of things didnt happen to 12.04.
