Bug description:
  BugLink: https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2127706

  [Impact]

In the cifs.ko module included in linux-azure kernels, there is a
potential bug with the server interface selection logic during
multichannel mounts, which could cause clients to not be able to find
new candidates for other channels after all interfaces are fulfilled.
This negatively impacts users of the SMB multichannel functionality.

  [Fix]

  Backport the following fix:

https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux.git/commit/fs/smb?id=9d5eff7821f6d70f7d1b4d8a60680fba4de868a7

  into the P/N:azure trees.

  [Test plan]

Build tested only; Microsoft will validate the bug fix.

  [Where problems could occur]

Issues with this patch could degrade the operation of SMB mounts on
  Azure.
