I've tested again and I can confirm that the test kernel Mehmet made available
at https://launchpad.net/~mehmetbasaran/+archive/ubuntu/linux-2125974
does not resolve the issue.

Title:
Upgrade from 6.14.0-29 to 6.14.0-32 results in locked up login
sessions on systems with nfs mounted home dirs

Status in linux-hwe-6.14 package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  $ lsb_release -rd
  No LSB modules are available.
  Description: Ubuntu 24.04.3 LTS
  Release: 24.04

  On upgrading from 6.14.0-29
    Version: 6.14.0-29.29~24.04.1
  to 6.14.0-32
    Version: 6.14.0-32.32~24.04.1

Users with nfs mounted home dirs started immediately experiencing
lock-ups. Generally within a few seconds the shell (tty or graphic)
would lock up and become un-responsive to keyboard. In a GUI
environment the mouse was still visible and moving, but no clicks had
any effect; any application windows frozen (generally not enough time
  to actually open anything).

Machines are OK for non-nfs users - normal login is fine; and even
when the device is "locked" as above (preventing local login), remote
login is fine for non-nfs users.

Reverting to k 6.14.0-29 immediately restores normal behaviour.

Logs show some hung processes - syslog extract attached.

  nfs mount options are:

  infhome-pri.domain:/cs/staffhome on /var/autofs/home/home type nfs4

(rw,nosuid,nodev,relatime,vers=4.2,rsize=1047672,wsize=1047532,namlen=255,hard,proto=tcp,timeo=15,retrans=5,sec=sys,clientaddr=XX.XX.XX.XX,fsc,local_lock=none,addr=XX.XX.XX.XX)
