Every time we upgrade to linux-image-5.15, it hangs when we transfer a large file (~500 MB). It doesn't generate any logs. It just hangs and I'm forced to preset the enforced shutdown to be able to boot again. Right now I had to deny all upgrades to 5.15: $ cat /etc/apt/preferences.d/block-fault-kernel Package: linux-headers-5.15.0-* Pin: version 5.15.0-* Pin-Priority: -1 Package: linux-image-5.15.0-* Pin: version 5.15.0-* Pin-Priority: -1 Package: linux-modules-5.15.0-* Pin: version 5.15.0-* Pin-Priority: -1 Package: linux-modules-extra-5.15.0-* Pin: version 5.15.0-* Pin-Priority: -1 Package: linux-libc Pin: version 5.15.0-* $ cat /proc/version_signature Ubuntu 5.15.0-151.161-generic 5.15.184 Pin-Priority: -1 Package: linux-libc-dev Pin: version 5.15.0-* Pin-Priority: -1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/2127091/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~kernel-packages Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~kernel-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
