Title:
System hangs when restarting after suspend

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
After opening lid on laptop, the USB mouse no longer responds and I
must reboot the device. The reboot hangs on the ubuntu screen and the
only solution is to power down the unit.

This only happens on kernels 6.8.0-85 and -84. If I boot using
6.8.0-83 then everything works as expected.

I have also started to see this error during startup- kernel: RDRAND
is not reliable on this platform; disabling

Also, when shutting down either 84 or 85 (before a suspend occurs)
there is a screen of messages that display but I do not know how to
copy the screen before it restarts.

Any help is greatly appreciated. I am not a Linux power user as I
  came from a Windows background.

  Thanks,
  Dave
