Public bug reported:

On a Dell Venue Pro 7140 tablet with the keyboard and battery docking
station the tablet detection after resume/suspend is not correct.

It defaults to always either 'tablet' or 'laptop' mode regardless of the
actual state. I am not sure why, but most of the time it defaults to
'tablet' which means that auto rotation is enabled and touchpad is
disabled (even though it is present in lsusb).

The workaround is to manually disconnect and reconnect the keyboard.

If you boot with the keyboard attached, the issue only appears once you
undock the tablet. If you never undock it, always stays in laptop mode.

I added regression, because this was working fine in the initial
releases of Ubuntu 23.10 with kernel 6.5.x

It maybe started with linux (6.5.0-27.28) mantic, but it was a while
back so I am not sure. I finally decided to file the bug report.

It is present on all subsequent versions (6.8, 6.11, 6.14)
