Let me add a bit more environment details on behalf of the end user. This is the VM with the passthrough of the disk controller from the hypervisor. GA kernel of 22.04 doesn't support latest generation of the controller hence initially the HWE available kernel was used (6.5), however the latest HWE 6.8 showing performance degradation.
