Thanks for confirming that.
As the behavior described in the issue is expected and the one prior to v6.12
can be restored by adding 'kvm.enable_virt_at_load=0' to the kernel command
line, I'll mark this bug as "won't fix".

Bug description:
I am using Kubuntu 24.04. I installed HWE kernel.

  I use VirtualBox 7.1_7.1.12 downloaded from virtualbox.org
and Virtual Machine Manager with libvert. They both work well With Kubuntu,
as long as I only use one at a time.

After upgrading to kernel 6.11 everything was working fine. Then came
the upgrade to 6.14; VirtualBox stopped working, but Virtual Machine
  Manager with libvert still worked.

I am getting this message when I try to open a VM on VirtualBox i get
  this massage:

VirtualBox can't enable the AMD-V extension. Please disable the KVM kernel
extension, recompile your kernel and reboot (VERR_SVM_IN_USE). Result Code:
  NS_ERROR_FAILURE (0x80004005)
   Component:
   ConsoleWrap
   Interface:
   IConsole {6ac83d89-6ee7-4e33-8ae6-b257b2e81be8}

I decided to install kubuntu and ubuntu 24.04.03 on a old notebook i have
Thinking that It might be something on my main desktop
  But no VirtualBox version worked
Each version gave me a different message.

Does anyone know how to solve this problem with the new kernel 6.14
It looks like the developers of Ubuntu forgot something When they compiled
the kernel.
