Bug description:
After upgrading to kernel version 6.11.0-25-generic on Ubuntu 24.04,
the package linux-headers-6.11.0-25-generic fails to configure due to
a DKMS error. While DKMS autoinstall succeeds for the NVIDIA module,
it fails for backport-iwlwifi. This causes post-install scripts for
multiple related packages (headers, image, and meta-packages) to fail
with exit status 11.
Error logs mention a build failure in /var/lib/dkms/backport-
iwlwifi/11510/build/make.log and indicate the existence of a stale
crash report. This blocks the configuration of related packages such
as linux-generic-hwe-24.04, linux-oem-22.04, and linux-
image-6.11.0-25-generic.
