Unfortunately, it looks like the proposed fix has not been submitted to sta...@vger.kernel.org yet, so it might take a while for it to trickle down into our kernels via stable updates. We could apply the fix as a SAUCE patch in the meantime in case this is really critical but we need a launchpad bug tracking the issue for that.
