This is more likely a problem with the nvidia drivers. Reassigning
accordingly.

Title:
Screen is corrupted after resuming from sleep

Status in nvidia-graphics-drivers-570 package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  Environment:
Ubuntu 25.04, fully updated as of 2025-05-29
  Nvidia 4060Ti video card
Using default Nvidia driver (open kernel) metapackage from
nvidia-driver-570-open (proprietary, tested)
  Using Wayland (the default)

  Problem:
Waking the computer from suspend while using the default proprietary Nvidia
driver (570) and Wayland results in a corrupted login screen and desktop.

  Expected behavior:
Waking the computer from suspend results in a usable desktop session.

  Steps to reproduce:
  1. Install Ubunbtu 25.04, and enable using third-party drivers and software
so that the Nvidia drivers are installed.

  2. After finishing install tasks and logging into the user session,
  suspend the computer.

  3. After a few moments, wake the computer.

  4. Observe the issue. See attached screenshots for examples of
  observed behavior.

  Concerns:
There are apparently plans to remove X11 from a future version of Ubuntu.
With this combination of nVidia, Wayland, and wake-from-suspend issues, this is
a showstopper.
